Can relate. At my previous job I got one comment that I did shitty programming (was true) and then he went on to teach everyone on the team OOP. The irony turns out to be, he teached what universities teach on OOP, which is utter bullcrap. Nevermind, got me reading 5 or 6 books on the topic, much appreciated the insult dude.
